         Attorney Mordechai Kamel, MD represents residents of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties.   Attorney Kamel’s practice is limited to matters of Housing Law, Special Education and School Law, and provides Mediation services.
         Attorney Kamel also provides consultation to the legal profession in Medico-Legal Matters such as personal injury, malpractice and criminal, and performs Medical Record Reviews.
         Fees in every case are determined by agreement between Attorney Kamel and the client in advance of representation.
         Attorney Kamel graduated from medical school in 1972 at the University of Toronto School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic training in 1980 at McGill University.  (see Curriculum Vitae). 
         Attorney Kamel practiced orthopaedic surgery from 1981 until 2009 with subspecialty interest in children's orthopaedic surgery (particularly multiply handicapped children) and sports medicine.   He was a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Board of Disability Analysts.
         Attorney Kamel became disabled and was no longer able to perform orthopaedic surgery after 2002.
         Attorney Kamel attended Western New England College School of Law and graduated cum laude, in 2009 and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar the same year.  Since addmission to the bar, Attorney Kamel has volunteered with Community Legal Aid and Volunteers for Justice representing indigent clients.  In his off time, Attorney Kamel volunteers with Valley Time Trade and The Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts.
         Attorney Kamel remains a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, the American Board of Disability Analysts and is now also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, The Hamden County Bar Association and the Hampshire County Bar Association.
